i-flex Leaky Cables provide homogeneous radio coverage in confined areas where walls (in tunnels), corners and rails restrict the free Line of Sight communication. i-flex Leaky cables are designed to provide high-quality communication at all times in the harshest and the most challenging environments. Our Leaky Cables consist of Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket with an inner conductor containing smooth/helical copper tube & insulation of foamed polyethylene (PE). The high-performance precision made slots in the copper outer conductor allow a controlled portion of the internal RF energy to be radiated into the surrounding environment. Conversely, a signal transmitted near the cable will couple into the slots and be carried along the cable length.
