i-connect Central Loose Tube Armoured Cables are developed with a tube filled with water blocking gel and a water blocking tape over the tube, resulting in excellent water and moisture resistance. The cables contain up to 24 fibres and are packed in corrugated steel armouring, along with two steel wires within a blue Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheath. This gives the cable excellent tensile strength and also provides protection against harsh environments. The cables are available in Multimode OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 and Singlemode OS2 types.
