The Energen pure gel battery by i-power is a sealed, valve regulated lead-acid deep cycle battery, consisting of a gel electrolyte. The major advantage of gel cells is that they can eliminate evaporation of the electrolyte, having greater resistance to extreme temperatures, shock, and vibration. It is ideal for standby or frequent cyclic discharge applications under extreme environments. By using strong grids, high purity lead and gel electrolyte, the Energen pure gel VRLA battery offers excellent recovery after deep discharge under frequent cyclic discharge use, and can deliver 400 cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD).
